  Riverside Cemetery is located near Jefferson St. along the curve of Michigan Ave. east of the city of Three Rivers, MI. The cemetery is well maintained, picturesque with a beautiful view of the St. Joseph River which runs along the cemetery's south side. Riverside Cemetery contains 87 acres with 10,000 gravesites and room for that many more. I visited the cemetery in June 2007 on a genealogy research trip and was pleasantly surprised to find the gravestones free of debris, overgrowth and in good repair. Sexton Ray Galovich is extremely helpful in locating gravesites and answering any questions you may have. Riverside is open from dawn until 9pm.

  This is a beautiful huge cemetery with the St. Joseph River winding along one side of the cemetery. The magnificent beautiful trees add to its beauty. The cemetery is very well maintained. Flowers were planted in the front and every time I have visited it, the lawn was mowed and the stones well maintained. On one visit a whole crew was mowing the lawn and working on the grounds. The Sexton, John Ash, was extremely helpful and walked the cemetery helping me find my ancestor's unmarked plot. I was very impressed by the extent John Ash went to in assisting me and how personable he was.
